Our volunteers collect durable medical equipment and make it available for reuse to people who cannot otherwise obtain needed equipment. Through Joni and Friends International’s “Wheels for the World” program, we recycle manual wheelchairs, metal walkers, metal canes and metal crutches and send them over-seas where this equipment is rare and expensive to obtain. We also work with individuals to help them obtain necessary equipment like manual and power wheelchairs, shower chairs, walkers, bathroom accommodations, therapy/rehabilitation equipment, and accessible personal transportation, etc.
